At some point I discovered that there was a team that was supposedly developing a new web browser that doesn't rely on any web engine that it is known about, it has its own way to render websites and is called Flow Browser. Many people believed it was a scam but it was real!

It has been developed from scratch and there is a preview that is downloadable from the main website.
Unfortunately it is only compatible with Raspberry Pi OS (a Debian-based distro) at least for now.
Seems to be a very good project but it is quite weird its source code isn't available to look at (giving the fact that it is built on a Linux system). Maybe the team will release it when they think its adecuate.
If someone runs a Raspberry Pi OS system I would like to know how it behaves
Also, to see the project advancements, check their Twitter --> https://twitter.com/FlowBrowser
This could be the beginning of the end of web engine monoculture.
Here is also an interenting read about this browser and how it could impact on the world if it is an success --> https://www.fastcompany.com/90611677/flow-ekioh-web-browser-new-engine
I am pretty excited to be honest.
